Greg welcomes funding success for new sports clubhouse in Langton Green

Greg welcomed the decision by the Premier League & FA Facilities Fund to award a grant of £384,000 to Langton Green Community Sports Association which will enable a new state-of-the-art clubhouse to be built on Langton Green Recreation Ground.

The new clubhouse will provide a home for a thriving football club, as well as Langton Green Netball Club and other community sports.

Greg commented:

"This is brilliant news. I am a great supporter of community sports and this new building will really boost all the local clubs in Langton Green. Guy Lambert and his team have worked really hard to make this happen and I have been delighted to have been involved. I can't wait to see the clubhouse up and running."

Building work is due to start this Autumn and the aim is to complete the work by Spring 2016.
