Our local health services are generally good but there are some areas where I am pressing for further improvements, including mental health services, especially for young people, and care for people with Alzheimer’s.

I am here to help: Greg's message to his constituents

Following the Prime Minister's announcement that England will be placed in another nation-wide lockdown, Greg wishes to reassure his constituents that he and his team are still on hand to help with any issues they may be facing during this particularly difficult time. 

Greg hails vaccine rollout in Tunbridge Wells

Vaccinations against Covid-19 began in Tunbridge Wells today, as constituents began arriving at the Abbey Court Medical Centre on St John's Rd to receive their vaccine. The medical centre is being used as a hub to treat the registered patients at nine surrounding surgeries.

Support is available for mental ill-health

Greg has used his regular column with the Times of Tunbridge Wells to acknowledge the serious impact Covid-19 has had on the mental wellbeing of many people and to urge anyone who feels as if they are suffering from mental ill health to not be afraid or embarrassed to seek help.

Greg tours Tunbridge Wells Hospital lab

Greg saw first hand one of the pivotal roles that Tunbridge Wells Hospital is playing in the fight against Covid-19 when he was given a tour of the hospital's testing centre. 

Pickering celebrates 15 years

Greg popped into the Pickering Cancer Drop-In Centre today to wish the charity a happy 15th birthday and to thank its founder Polly Taylor BEM for all her selfless hard work over this period. 

Greg praises SECAmb progress

Greg met with the new Chief Executive of the South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb), Philip Astle, at the organisation’s Make Ready Centre in Paddock Wood today.

Greg backs cross-party Orkambi campaign

Greg has continued his fight to help secure the latest medicines for sufferers of cystic fibrosis by giving his backing to a cross-party campaign aiming to obtain access to the drug Orkambi for the NHS in England.
