Greg has written to the Leader of Kent County Council urging him to reassess the current closure of Household Waste Recycling Centres following reports of increased fly tipping.
In his letter to Roger Gough, Greg said that although there was “no excuse” for fly tipping, it was not a coincidence that it has increased since the recycling centres were closed.
In his letter Greg said when many workplaces such as supermarkets, food processing plants and manufacturing facilities are still able to function while observing social distancing rules, it should be possible to implement suitable measures at recycling centres.
