Following his letter to Kent County Council urging them to reassess their closure of the Tunbridge Wells Household Waste Recycling Centre, Greg has welcomed the council’s decision to reopen to customers.
Constituents will need to book a slot online to ensure social distancing can be maintained.
The reopening of the recycling centre comes shortly after the resumption of the garden waste service.
Greg said: “Many of my constituents have accumulated bulky or garden waste during lockdown that they have been unable to get rid of, so I am very pleased to see that sensible measures have been taken to allow both the reopening of the recycling centre and the resumption of the garden waste service.”
