Greg was delighted to attended the reopening of the John Brunt VC Pub in Paddock Wood today following a £480,000 revamp by Heineken-owned Star Pubs & Bars.
The pub, which has been named since 1947 after one of the town’s Victoria Cross heroes, has been completely overhauled inside and out to bring it up to date and give it a smarter more modern look.
Greg said: “Pubs are vital hubs of our culture and a cornerstone of our community. Its really great to see investment into the John Brunt. It was a pleasure to visit the pub and see a local pub that has received a substantial investment and been given a new lease of life as a result. I wish all the staff and managers at the John Brunt the best of luck in the days and months ahead.”
