At a meeting with members of Baxall Construction’s management earlier today Greg discussed the Paddock Wood-based firm’s plans for future growth, community engagement and its assessment of trends within the construction industry.
The company is a leader in developing and applying new technologies and innovations and its growing business has been responsible for several local projects including building Skinner's Kent Primary School, the Barton Science Centre at Tonbridge School and the Day Centre & Education Suite at Hospice in the Weald. The firm also won the contract to develop the Southborough Community Hub.
The company’s Managing Director, Malcolm Clarke, also spoke of the firm’s commitment to offering work experience opportunities to young people and responded enthusiastically to Greg’s request to expand their programme to young people with Special Educational Needs.
Greg said: “Baxall Construction is a fantastic example of a local business which is truly committed to ensuring that the whole community can benefit from its continued growth and success.”
