As part of his campaign for a step-free High Brooms station, Greg gave representatives from Network Rail a guided tour of the station and the surrounding area. Greg said:
"I'm grateful to Network Rail for coming to see the situation at High Brooms station for themselves.
"Anyone who travels from the station knows its limitations, and with its narrow, steep staircases and tunnel it can be difficult to negotiate for anyone with mobility issues.
"High Brooms is now the second busiest station in my constituency, with passenger numbers increasing by over 50% over the last decade, and is the only station in Kent where over 1 million journeys a year are made which is not yet step-free. So I hope that having seen it, Network Rail will have a better understanding of not just how busy the station is, but of the everyday challenges it poses for people."
