Greg made the case for further Government support for the arts and sports and those employed in these sectors in the House of Commons today. In his speech during the DCMS debate on support for these sectors during Covid-19, Greg pointed to The Forum in Tunbridge Wells as a community asset - renowned nationally as an outstanding music venue and hotbed of talent - that has yet to receive a grant from the £1.57 billion funding package announced in July, following Greg's first call for extra support for the sector.
He also expressed his concerns that his constituents who work as freelancers in this sector are not receiving support from the funding package.
