Greg has stated his delight that the Down Syndrome Bill - introduced by Liam Fox as a Private Member's Bill - passed its second reading today.
The Government announced last week that it will support the Down Syndrome Bill. This means the Down Syndrome Act 2022 (as it will become) will improve provision and outcomes for all those living with Down syndrome in England.
Greg said: "I am delighted to support Liam Fox's Down Syndrome Bill which has just passed its Second Reading in the Commons. I had great pleasure in meeting Max & Fionn at an event in Parliament earlier this week in support of the bill, which I believe will a really positive difference to people with Down Syndrome by improving access to work experience & employment opportunities."
