Greg welcomes Delay Repay 15

Following a strong campaign, Greg welcomed Southeastern's introduction of Delay Repay 15 today. The new compensation scheme allows rail passengers to claim compensation when their train is delayed by quarter of an hour, as opposed to the previous threshold of half an hour. 

Greg pushes for charge point roll-out

Greg has used his regular column in the Times of Tunbridge Wells to urge Southeastern to follow the example of its neighbouring rail operators and start installing charge points at its station car parks. 

Southborough Hub and Medical Centre

Following concerns that the proposed Southborough Hub was in jeopardy Greg convened an urgent meeting yesterday of members and officers from the three local authorities involved in the project in a bid to break the deadlock.

Greg has continued his fight to help secure the latest medicines for sufferers of cystic fibrosis by giving his backing to a cross-party campaign aiming to obtain access to the drug Orkambi for the NHS in England.

Greg has reiterated his opposition to the expansion of Gatwick in a joint letter to Chris Grayling in which he, and five other MPs, express their opposition "in principle" to the airport's plans to bring its reserve runway into regular use which they describe as a "second runway by any other name

TfSE urged to back further A21 dualling

Greg has written a formal email alongside Amber Rudd and Huw Merriman to the Chairman of Transport for South East (TfSE), urging him to back their bid for the length of the A21 to be dualled between Tunbridge Wells and Hastings.
