Following the news that High Brooms station saw one of the largest turn outs of community support in its Access for All bid, Greg has written to the Secretary of State for Transport, Huw Merriman, to further boost the prospects of the station being selected for funding.

The Access for All bid is to build a bridge connecting Platforms 1 and 2. This came after an already successful bid for £785,000 in 2020 to build a ramp connecting Clifton Road to Platform 2 was later found to be unfeasible due to regulations. However, following campaigning from Greg, the Department for Transport allowed any unspent money from the initial grant to be used to draw up plans for a bridge instead.
