Greg met with members of the Tunbridge Wells Bicycle Users’ Group today to discuss ways to promote active travel in the town.

Govid-19 has led to considerable and potentially permeant changes to travel patterns, which led to the Government introducing additional funding to promote active travel.

Several schemes have been introduced and tested in Tunbridge Wells but there is agreement that there needs to be more co-operation at local, county and national level to ensure that the schemes which promote cycling and walking are both effective and supported by constituents.
