Greg sent a message of congratulations to local Paralympian Will Bayley on winning a gold medal for table tennis at the Rio Games.

Yesterday Greg formally opened Skinners' Kent Primary School in a ceremony attended by members of the Skinners' Company, local councillors, parents and other guests.

Greg has persuaded Southern Water to bring forward the date of a crucial drainage plan which will help tackle flooding in the town in the future.

Greg invited Kent's new Police & Crime Commissioner, Matthew Scott, along with local County, Borough and Parish Councillors, to meet with members of Hawkhurst Speedwatch to press the case for changing the policy on the installation of fixed speed cameras.
