Joint letter urges regulatory change

Greg and Tonbridge MP Tom Tugendhat have issued a joint letter to the Department of Transport in which they question the effectiveness of the current regulatory framework in combating aircraft noise and highlight the impact of this noise is having on their constituents.

Intrusive levels of aircraft noise affects many of my constituents, especially those living towards the west of Tunbridge Wells. I have been working alongside community groups and local experts to press for Gatwick, the airlines and the regulators, to change flightpaths and operate quieter aircraft.
