21 December: An update from Greg on South East Water

I wanted to update you on the latest that I know about the ongoing appalling situation with South East Water.

The handling of the situation by South East Water has been, and continues to be, unacceptably bad and in some instances chaotic.

Following the most recent disruption to water supplies in Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding villages, Greg met again with the Director of Operations for South East Water.

Greg calls for intervention on Post Office closure

Following the closure of the main Post Office at Five Ways in Tunbridge Wells on 30 November, Greg asked the Leader of House if the Secretary of State for Business can intervene in the dispute between the Post Office and the landlord that has led to such disruption during the Christmas period.

In this week's column for the Times of Tunbridge Wells, Greg explains why he is introducing a Private Member's Bill in Parliament on 9th of December which aims to make public sexual harasment an offence.

An update on water outages

Wednesday 23 November

A large number of Greg's constituents have been impacted by water outages over the past couple of weeks, with homes in many parts of the constituency receiving either no water, intermittent supplies or low pressure. 

TWGGS Tour of Parliament

Greg met with Students from TWGGS studying politics in Years 12 and 13. Before taking them on a tour of Parliament and bringing them inside the Chamber of the House of Commons, Greg gave a talk on the roles and responsibilities of an MP.

Greg calls for water compensation

Following the recent water outage that impacted large parts of Greg's constituency, Greg has written to the Chief Executive of South East Water calling for more resillience to be built into the system as well as compensation for those affected.
